History
Beginning
Our story began in 1992 with the founding of a family-owned construction and consulting company named Vival. After many years of experience in the construction industry, we decided to take our own path and establish a new company through which we have been providing our clients with professionalism and satisfaction for the past 30 years.
1997.
Five years later, the company was renamed to Letan, a name of family significance that marked a turning point for our business. It was at this time that we took on our first major project, the construction of a five-story residential building with 28 apartments on Gundulićeva Street in Pula.
After successful completion, we took on an even greater challenge – the construction of a mixed-use building with 27 apartments and 3 commercial spaces on Negrijeva Street. These projects, characterized by high-quality execution and satisfied clients, solidified our company’s reputation in the market and provided the capital needed for further investments and expansion into new sectors.
2000.
Our success in the construction industry motivated us to pursue the rapidly growing trend of tourism development in Istria, and venture into the hospitality sector. This marked the beginning of a new development phase for our company, which, in addition to building and selling apartments, started to focus on providing professional hospitality and catering services for weddings and luxury events.
What started in 2000 as a small family restaurant with a few guest rooms in Peroj, turned into a well-known hotel Villa Letan , today featuring a total of 54 accommodation units and 6 apartments, which has been providing high-quality service to tourists from around the world for the past 25 years.
Today
Despite numerous global crises over the past twenty years (such as the global financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic), the company A.V. Letan continues to operate successfully in both sectors to this day. This can be evidenced by the success of our catering service, LF Catering, which became one of the most renowned in Istria, as well as by our recently completed construction project in Peroj that includes four residential buildings with a total of 40 apartments.
Today, we continue our story with the newly built complex Peroj Living 2, in which only a few apartments remain available, as well as with the new Šijana Gate Residence project, including a total of six buildings with 24 residential units.
